Why “I’ll Just Get Back Into It” Keeps Failing

You know you need to train. The problem isn’t knowing, it’s how you start.

Most restarts look like this:

  • Big burst of motivation
  • 2 weeks of random hard classes or workouts
  • Soreness, busy week, or something goes wrong
  • Training stops completely and you feel like you’re back at zero

You don’t have a clear:

  • Starting point that respects where your body is now
  • Plan that fits around work and family
  • Coach to adjust things for old injuries and niggles
  • Check‑in to decide what happens after the “trial” period

The 21‑Day Strong Start Kickstarter fixes this by giving you:

  • One 60‑minute 1‑on‑1 to restart safely and confidently
  • 21 days of coached Adult Group Strength sessions (2–3x/week)
  • Simple nutrition support to improve energy and feel better, not worse
  • A clear recommendation into Bronze/Silver or our 8‑Week Strong & Lean Program after the 21 days

Fallen Out Of Training? 21 Days Is Enough To Get You Back.

You don’t need another 6‑week shred or random challenge.

You need a safe, structured way to get back into proper strength training that fits around work, kids and real life.

You might relate to:

  • Training used to be part of your life, but you’ve stopped and started for months (or years)
  • You feel stiff, weaker or “older” than you should, especially in the gym
  • You don’t want to jump straight into a hardcore program or big commitment
  • You’re over random HIIT classes and want proper strength coaching
  • You just want to feel like “I’m back” without wrecking your joints or confidence

If that sounds like you, the 21‑Day Strong Start Kickstarter is the best way to restart.

Introducing The D8 Strong Start System (21 Days)

Strong Start is a 21‑day on‑ramp into proper strength training, built around three key pieces:

1. Assess – A 60‑minute Strong Start Assessment & Workout so you feel safe and confident before joining the group

2. Train – Coached Adult Group Strength sessions 2–3x/week, with small caps and proper technique coaching

3. Reset – A 42‑Day Real Food Reset and a midpoint nutrition check‑in so your food supports your joints, energy and results, not fights them

It’s not a random “free week” or generic trial. It’s a structured 21‑day process that leads into a realistic next step.

“I hadn’t trained properly in over a year and was honestly embarrassed to come back. The 60‑minute assessment and 21‑Day Strong Start block made it feel doable. By the end of 3 weeks I felt stronger, less stiff and actually looked forward to training again.” - Kelly  (21Day Strong Start Member)

What You Get In 21 Days

You’ll get everything you need – and nothing you don’t:

Strong Start Assessment & Workout (60 minutes, 1‑on‑1)

You’ll begin with a full hour 1‑on‑1 session where we:

  • Talk through your training history, goals and any injuries
  • Run you through our warm‑up and key movements at a pace that feels safe
  • Set safe starting loads and exercise options
  • Map out your 21‑day training plan so you know exactly when you’re training and what comes next

21 Days Of Coached Adult Group Strength (2–3x/week)

For 21 days you’ll train in our Adult Group Strength sessions:

  • Small group classes so your coach can watch your technique, not just shout at a crowd
  • Proper strength programming (squat, hinge, push, pull), not random circuits
  • Adjustments around your current ability and any niggles

42‑Day Real Food Reset Manual

You’ll get our 42‑Day Real Food Reset Manual, which gives you:

  • Simple, family‑friendly recipes
  • A focus on reducing heavily processed foods and joint‑irritating junk
  • A 6‑week runway that covers the 21‑day Strong Start and the weeks after

Midpoint Nutrition Check‑In

Around halfway through your 21 days we’ll check in on:

  • How you’re feeling in sessions and in daily life
  • What’s working and what isn’t with food
  • One or two small tweaks for the second half of Strong Start

6‑Week Strength Roadmap (After The 21 Days)

At the end of your 21 days we’ll:

  • Review your attendance, consistency and how you’re feeling
  • Recommend a simple path into Bronze (2x/week) or Silver (3x/week) membership
  • For some, discuss upgrading into the 8‑Week Strong & Lean Program if they want more 1‑on‑1 support

Our Show‑Up & Feel Stronger Guarantee

We don’t want you worrying “what if this doesn’t work for me?”

So here’s our simple promise:

If you attend at least 6 coached sessions in your 21 days and you don’t feel noticeably stronger and more confident in the gym, we’ll give you another 21 days of Adult Group Strength coaching on us.

No hoops. You show up and do the work, and if you don’t feel a clear difference, we’ll back it up with more coaching, not excuses.

Who The 21‑Day Strong Start Is (And Isn’t) For

This is for you if:

  • You’ve let training slip and want a safe way back into it
  • You’re nervous about walking into a big gym alone or into a hardcore program
  • You want proper coached strength training, not just random HIIT workouts
  • You can realistically make 2–3 sessions per week for the next 3 weeks
  • You want to feel stronger and more confident before deciding on a longer‑term option

This is not for you if:

  • You want a 6‑week shred or crash diet
  • You can’t commit to any consistent training for the next 21 days
  • You’re just looking for the cheapest, no‑support access to equipment
  • You don’t want coaching or feedback, just a keytag

What D8 Adults Are Saying About Strong Start

Real reviews from Adelaide adults who used 21 days to get back into a proper strength routine.

I needed a safe way back in

“I hadn’t trained properly in over a year and was honestly embarrassed to come back. The 60‑minute assessment and 21‑Day Strong Start block made it feel doable. By the end of 3 weeks I felt stronger, less stiff and actually looked forward to training again.”

Not a bootcamp, thank god

“I was worried it would be another ‘smash you’ challenge. It wasn’t. The coaches actually watched my form, adjusted things for my shoulder and made sure I wasn’t overdoing it. 21 days later I felt confident enough to commit to a membership.”

Back in a routine again

“I joined Strong Start after months of stop–start training. Having 21 days mapped out, with sessions booked and coaches expecting me, got me back into a proper rhythm. Now I’m in Bronze and hitting 2–3 sessions every week.”

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do I need to be fit already to do this?

No. Most Strong Start clients are coming off an inconsistent period with training. We meet you where you are and build from there.

  • How many sessions per week do I need to attend?

For best results we recommend 2–3 Adult Group Strength sessions per week during your 21 days. That gives your body enough exposure to progress without overdoing it.

  • What if I have injuries or sore joints?

That’s exactly why we start with a 60‑minute Strong Start Assessment. We’ll look at how you move, talk through your injury history and, if needed, work alongside your physio or GP so we know what your joints and muscles can safely handle.

From there we build your plan so you’re re‑building the problem area while still training the rest of your body – not just doing rehab exercises in the corner.

    We’ll:

Adjust or swap any movements that flare things up

Add specific strength / rehab work for the affected joint or muscle

Keep you squatting, hinging, pushing, pulling and conditioning in ways that feel safe and productive

Many of our current members train with old injuries or trouble spots. The goal is that you leave sessions feeling like you’ve had a proper workout, while quietly making those areas stronger and more resilient over time.

  • What happens after the 21 days?

At the end of your Strong Start we’ll show you your attendance and progress and recommend the best next step – usually a Bronze (2x/week) or Silver (3x/week) membership. For some people, the 8‑Week Strong & Lean Program is the right upgrade.

  • How do I pay for the program?

Strong Start is a one‑off payment of $199 for the full 21 days. We’ll set this up with you when you join the program.

  • Does this include 1‑on‑1 sessions every week?

Strong Start includes one 60‑minute 1‑on‑1 Assessment & Workout at the beginning and a shorter midpoint nutrition check‑in. If you want weekly 1‑on‑1 sessions for 8 weeks, Strong & Lean is the right program.

  • What if I decide it’s not for me after the Assessment?

The Assessment is where we both decide if Strong Start is the right fit. If it’s not, we’ll suggest a better option (including 8‑Week Strong & Lean or a standard membership) or just part as friends.

  • When are the classes?

For a full list of clients check out our Schedule page of all Adult Classes.
