Frequently Asked Questions
Is this program suitable if I haven’t exercised in years?
Absolutely. Most of our members are just starting (or restarting) their fitness journey. We tailor everything to your level.
What happens during the initial assessment?
Your first session is a friendly one-on-one with a coach. We take time to understand how your body moves, identify any challenges, and walk you through the warm-up to get you ready for the first group class.
We don’t charge for this session because we want to make sure the program is a good fit for you before you commit.
What if I have a bad back, sore knees, or arthritis?
Our coaches are trained to work with common injuries and conditions. We’ll adjust exercises so you feel safe and supported.
Do I need a doctor’s clearance to join?
If you’re managing a medical condition, we recommend chatting with your GP first — but for most people, that’s not required.
Is this a group or 1-on-1 program?
It’s a small-group format, so you get personal attention in a friendly, social setting.
What should I bring to my first session?
Just wear comfortable clothes, bring a water bottle, and we’ll take care of the rest.
What if I can’t do some of the exercises?
That’s completely fine. We always offer alternatives — and it’s our job to help you build up gradually.
I’m worried I won’t be fit enough…
That’s the #1 thing we hear — and the exact reason this program exists. Strength can be built at any age.
How is Forever Strength different from a regular gym?
We don’t just hand you a program and leave you to figure it out. Every session is coach-led, supportive, and designed for people 60 and over — no mirrors, no egos, no pressure.
What results can I expect?
Most members notice better balance, strength, and energy within a few weeks — and long-term improvements in mobility, posture, and confidence.
How often do I train each week?
Most of our Forever Strength members train 2–3 times per week — just enough to see great results, without burning out.
Can I come in and just have a look first?
Of course! We’re happy to give you a tour, introduce you to the team, and chat about your goals — no pressure.
